Hi everyone!

Firstly, I want to say how excited I am to see some of you back outside training in groups from last week and even more joining this week! I want to encourage everyone who is willing and able to get back into it, as it will help you reconnect with the group and build your fitness back up! It's been positive to see the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the people who've already been training, and I'm sure that this will increase over the coming weeks, as confidence increases and more people become fully vaccinated.

To see what's been happening please have a look at the Social Media pages on Instagram and Facebook and you'll see what's been going on over the last two weeks. I can assure you that the training you know and are used to will continue, within the parameters that we are allowed.

Please know that your safety is paramount to us as we get everyone back to training. There may be some limitations initially, as we are committed to cleaning and to safety to ensure that we return to training in a way that doesn't set us back in the longer term, but our focus is to be back to full operation as soon as is safely possible.

Have an awesome weekend everyone, and I can't wait to see you in person soon!

Good afternoon and happy Friday everyone!

I hope that you've had an amazing week and managed to hit your goals. This week it's been so encouraging to hear about more people getting to training sessions outside. That Moving Circuit in Balmain sounded fun!

The good news is that with the easing of restrictions we will be able to move closer towards normality in just over a week, which is very exciting! I can't wait to be back in the park with you guys. We will be increasing sessions at Glebe, as well as adding sessions back to Balmain so that you can get your training routine back to normal.

If you haven't been, then now is the time to be active and to be building your strength and fitness back up so you avoid that 2 day ache after training! Get a couple of short runs in, meet someone for a workout or even do pushups, squats and crunches during the ad breaks! All of those things will help your return to training.

Like I said I can't wait to see you back in training in just over a week! In the meantime have an amazing weekend, try to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. See you soon!

Hi everyone!

Well this is an exciting announcement.... I'm happy to be able to let you know that we're back to proper training next week! Soooo... Everyone who's fully vaccinated will be able to train! I'm looking forward to seeing you all as soon as you're comfortable to get back into it.. I'm also keen to organise a celebration for us all once we are all allowed out and about again! So watch this space!

I want to say a big well done to the people who have been getting to sessions so far. I know it's a bit of a challenge when things haven't quite gotten back up to full speed but your efforts have been noticed and recognised so well done to everyone. A big shout out to Justine too who's been trekking from Balmain over to Glebe for sessions.

I'd like to highlight how impressed I am with the community that we all have. When I was counselling one of the key aspects that we would always look for that marked the strength of a group was its ability to function without a leader. I've really tried to build those connections and that sense of community between everyone and I think that our group really does have a life of its own which is independent of me or anyone else. I see that in the ways that people have been supportive and encouraging to each other, in the ways that you've all been meeting to stay focused and on track, and in the positive communication that I've been seeing between everyone.

I'm truly excited to have everyone back together next week and looking forward to the next stage in the growth of the group!

See you soon!
